Residential Center

At the heart of the National Center for Hearing Innovation, a short-term residential facility will provide suite-like accommodations for children newly diagnosed with hearing loss and their caregivers, easing the cost and access barriers for families traveling to Washington, DC. The center will also welcome visiting scholars, educators, clinicians, and fellows, with shared spaces fostering collaboration that accelerates the move from research to practice.

Research

NCHI conducts and coordinates independent studies, validates new approaches and interventions, and disseminates findings to clinicians, educators, policymakers, and families nationwide. Advocacy & Outreach

The Community Outreach Fund addresses cost and other barriers so children with hearing loss, especially from underserved communities, can receive timely diagnosis, access to hearing technologies, family-centered therapy, and literacy enrichment through programs like the ILEAD Summer Literacy Program.
