Residential Center

At the heart of the National Center for Hearing Innovation will be a short-term residential facility, designed to host children newly diagnosed with hearing loss and their caregivers in suite-like accommodations. For families traveling to Washington, DC, this on-campus housing will remove barriers of cost and access, making advanced services more obtainable.
The residential center will also serve as a hub for visiting scholars, educators, clinicians, and fellows who come to NCHI for research and training. Shared spaces will spark collaboration and the exchange of ideas, ensuring that discoveries move quickly from research to practice.
By bringing together housing, clinical care, and research, the residential center embodies NCHI’s mission of equity, access, and innovation, ensuring that more families, regardless of where they live, can participate in and benefit from best practices in hearing health.
